How it all began…

I was not born a cat groomer, in fact, grooming is my second carrer. I was born in Montreal Canada where I grew up. I studied law and became an attorney.

The big change

In 2008, I decided to make a change and I went to grooming school. Working with animals was so gratifying to me. Grooming became my zen. There’s no better way to say it.

I then opened a successful grooming salon for both dogs and cats in the Montreal region and left the law. I was very happy with my choice.

In 2014, I was introduced to the man that would become my husband. He is an American and lived in upstate New York.

Becoming a Certified Feline Master Groomer

I was grooming cats but I kept telling myself: “There must be a better and safer and safer way to groom cats.” so I started researching where I could lean more about cat grooming. That is when I found the National Cat Grooming Institute. They were then and still are the world’s number 1 resource for cat grooming education.

I then began my training and studies with them. I went through 4 written and 5 practical exams to achieve the highest title in cat grooming. I am now a Certified Feline Master Groomer and I am very proud of this accomplishment. There are only a little over 300 of us in the entire world. This certification is hard to achieve and the few who achieve it are the elite.

To me grooming cats is not a job, it is my profession. I take it very seriously and I keep abreast of all new studies and information regarding all things cat.

Since becoming a Certified Feline Master Groomer, I have become a trainer and then a certifier for the National Cat Groomers Institute and also have given seminars to groomers that wish to learn more about cat grooming.

Our move to Cape Coral

My husband and I chose to relocate to Cape Coral where I am pleased to be able to offer my specialized feline grooming services in a brand new grooming vehicle specially designed exclusively for cat grooming.

As a Certified Feline Master Groomer, I can offer consistent and outstanding results every time. I Groom Cats offers luxury feline exclusive mobile grooming in Fort-Myers, Cape Coral, North Fort-Myers and Babcock Ranch.

My passion is to help each and every cat to learn to love the grooming process, and to assist cat owners in the health and well-being of their cats’ skin and coat.

Because I focus only on cat grooming, I am able to offer a relaxed and attentive atmosphere for each of my feline guests. Specialization has enabled me to become very good at what I do.
